The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
House lands with a cross.
Lion has a takedown stuffed.
Lion shoots for a double leg takedown but House sprawls well. He's pushed Lion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Katsu Lion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
House lands with a right hand.

House ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
House works Lion's body with a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lion fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lion is breathing heavily.
House bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lion's head backwards.
Lion takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lion on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lion. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
House lands with a nice body punch.

Lion closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by House.
House is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lion rather than just go for the knockout.
House works Lion's body with a nice hook.
House keeps Lion at a distance using the push kick.
Lion takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from House, right into the meat.
House lands a lovely overhand right.
House thuds his right hand into Lion's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Lion is rocked!
House closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lion! House dives in looking to finish! Lion is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
