The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wozniaczek connects with a looping right hand.
Wozniaczek throws a hook to the side of Couture's head but Couture sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Wozniaczek counters with a nice uppercut.

Couture looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Couture wants to work for an arm triangle but Wozniaczek is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Couture fails with the takedown.
Wozniaczek slaps away a takedown attempt from Couture, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Wozniaczek scores with a counter punch that sends Couture to the canvas! Wozniaczek smells blood - he's punishing Couture with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Couture has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
