Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Mcduffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleoh Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcduffy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mcduffy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
Mcduffy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oooh a lovely combination from Mcduffy sends Gracie down but not out. Mcduffy dives into side control looking to finish.


Gracie is rocked!


It looks like Aleoh Gracie has been cut.

Mcduffy decides to stand back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcduffy's waist but Mcduffy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Patrick Mcduffy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleoh Gracie.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrick Mcduffy will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcduffy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Gracie counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mcduffy!
Gracie throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mcduffy is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Mcduffy is controlling an arm, preventing Gracie from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mcduffy is looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mcduffy has worked his arm free - good work by Mcduffy!

Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Mcduffy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gracie wants to stand but Mcduffy has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aleoh Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aleoh Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gracie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
