Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minotauro Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minotauro Jackson looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Minotauro Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Joe scores with a nice head shot.
Joe connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A jab from Joe misses.
Joe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jackson's head backwards.


Jackson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Joe misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Joe finish him?
Jack Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.
Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.
Joe is trying to break free.
Joe wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Joe's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Joe looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Jackson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jackson works his way into side control.
Joe is trying to get back to his feet.

Joe trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Jackson stands up and beckons Joe to his feet.
Joe throws a poor cross that misses

and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Joe's guard.
Jackson stops Joe from standing up.
Joe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Joe wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson controlling from the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Minotauro Jackson.
Joe lands a right hook to the body.
Jackson lands a head kick. Joe smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Joe misses with a few strikes there.
Joe lands a two punch combo.
A shot to the liver by Joe. Beautiful body shot.

Jackson closes the distance and pushes Joe back into the cage.
Jackson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Joe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Joe is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jackson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Joe to the mat. Joe regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Jackson looks winded!
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Joe is wriggling around but Jackson manages to pass to half guard.

Joe is looking to escape.

Jackson stands up and beckons Joe to join him on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jackson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Joe.
Joe with a nice cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Joe jabs Jackson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Joe misses with a straight left.
Joe misses with a left hand

and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jackson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Joe is looking to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Joe will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joe pinned against the cage. Joe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Joe connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Joe swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Joe punishes Jackson's body with a nice straight punch.
Nice uppercut lands for Joe. That snapped Jackson's head back.

Joe cracks Jackson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jackson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Joe finish him?
Jackson is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Joe misses with a lunging right hand

and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Joe's guard now.
Joe wants to get back to his feet but Jackson passes into half guard.
Minotauro Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jackson passes the guard and advances to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jackson is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Joe lands a nice shot that snaps Jackson's head back.
Joe missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Joe misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming.
Joe is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Joe throws a lazy uppercut

and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson.
Joe is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson passes into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Joe is looking to get back to is feet but Jackson passes into side control.

Jackson has hold of Joe's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Joe seems comfortable defending it but Jackson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Joe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Joe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jackson couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Minotauro Jackson!
