PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yo Adrian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mano Thao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adrian comes into the arena with Super Bon Bon - Soul Coughing blaring out of the sound system. Thao has chosen Sabotage as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adrian just misses with a punch to the body.
Adrian swings away with a body shot that misses
and Thao counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Adrian is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Adrian just misses with a punch to the body.
Adrian scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Adrian throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Thao tumbling to the canvas!

It looks like Mano Thao has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Adrian gets to his feet - Thao follows without any prompting.
Adrian throws a hook but Thao blocks it.

Adrian waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Thao. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Thao to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Thao is rocked!

Adrian stands and steps away. Thao gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Thao is still on wobbly legs! Can Adrian finish him?
Thao misses with a straight right.
A big left from Adrian misses.
Thao bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Thao seems to have recovered his senses.
Adrian throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A jab lands there for Thao.
Adrian thuds a left hand into Thao's body.

Adrian has Thao up against the cage in a clinch.
Thao prevents Adrian from breaking the clinch.

Thao manages to break the clinch.
Thao gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Adrian gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Thao is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yo Adrian!
After winning the bout, Yo Adrian thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
