These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Riordan lands with a nice body punch.
Castillo looks to land a combination but Riordan avoids it well.

and Castillo counters with a nice uppercut.
Castillo throws a lazy right hand but Riordan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Castillo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Castillo lands a big uppercut and Riordan crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Riordan looks OK. Castillo waves Riordan back to his feet!

Riordan is rocked!
Riordan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Castillo pinned against the cage. Castillo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Riordan is still on wobbly legs! Can Castillo finish him?
Castillo lands a jab to the nose.
Castillo ducks under a wild hook from Riordan.
Riordan seems to have recovered his senses.

Castillo lands a left and a right that send Riordan crashing to the mat, dazed. Castillo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ozzie Castillo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Castillo counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Riordan falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

After winning the bout, Ozzie Castillo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
