Lazer comes to the cage accompanied by Major Lazer - Pon De Floor. Kazansky has chosen Danger Zone as his entrance music. Major Lazer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tom Kazansky's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazansky wants to clinch.

Lazer drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lazer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Lazer trying to control the position from guard on top but Kazansky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lazer tries to free his leg and advance position but Kazansky is retaining full guard.
Lazer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kazansky's head.
Lazer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Kazansky is looking for a triangle but Lazer pushes his legs off easily.

Kazansky looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lazer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lazer is in close to Kazansky's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kazansky throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kazansky trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Lazer advances position into side control!
Lazer connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kazansky some visible discomfort.
Kazansky struggling a bit here.
A big shot lands for Lazer! That's hurt Kazansky! Will he recover? Lazer fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
