The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage lands a head shot.
Hannagan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cage scores with a three punch combo!
Hannagan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Hannagan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hannagan rushes Cage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hannagan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Cage.
Hannagan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Hannagan jumps guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cage stopping the sweep attempt from Hannagan.

Hannagan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cage defends well.
Hannagan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cage throws a big elbow that misses.
Hannagan wants to sweep here but Cage controlling him for the moment.

Cage wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hannagan's closed guard. He's half up but Hannagan has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hannagan pivots and extends the arm, Cage falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hannagan! Well done that man!
