Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Walter Kurtz!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rimes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kurtz lands a jab to the head.
Kurtz throws a jab when Rimes was well out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Rimes.
Kurtz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kurtz misses with a two punch combination.
Kurtz misses with an uppercut. Rimes saw that one coming.
Rimes swinging wildly here.
Rimes moves away from the strike by Kurtz.
Kurtz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kurtz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A jab from Kurtz does it's job there.
Rimes throws a nice outside leg kick.
A low kick from Rimes misses
and Kurtz counters with an outside leg kick.

Rimes connects with an inside leg kick.
Kurtz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rimes manages to avoid it.
Rimes throws a front kick aimed at Kurtz's knee but Kurtz avoids it well.
Rimes wants to slow Kurtz down by chopping away at his legs.
Kurtz connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rimes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kurtz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rimes blocks the body kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rimes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kurtz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rimes can pounce on him.
Kurtz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rimes.
Rimes lands with a hook. Kurtz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kurtz checks the leg kick nicely there.

Rimes throws a leg kick
and Kurtz counters with a huge head kick that drops Rimes! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walter Kurtz!
A very excited looking Walter Kurtz made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
