The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brown.
Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brown tries to clinch up but Parker circles away and keeps his distance.

and Brown holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Brown wants to sweep here but Parker controlling him for the moment.
