Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by Psycho Realm Revoltion. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Ortiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Kingston!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ortiz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kingston swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No luck for Ortiz with that takedown attempt.
Ortiz fails with a takedown attempt.
Ortiz dodges the punch combination from Kingston.
Ortiz slips a jab and a cross from Kingston.
Kingston looks to land a combination but Ortiz avoids it well.

and Ortiz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kingston wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Ortiz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kingston uses from the top position.

Kingston decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ortiz to his feet.

Kingston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ortiz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kingston tries to avoid it but Ortiz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kingston to the ground. Kingston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kingston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ortiz seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Kingston shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Ortiz is backing up but Kingston catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Ortiz covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Kingston Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Kingston!
