The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shou looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dell is fending him off so far but Shou persists. Nope, Dell circles away and we're back to standing.
Shou tries for a takedown but Dell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Dell counters with a shoot takedown. Shou fights it but they end up in guard.

Shou is trying to control Dell's posture but Dell avoids it.
Shou wants to get back to his feet but Dell is dominant here and he's now got Shou 's back!

Khan Dell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Shou misses with a wild combination.
Dell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Shou throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shou ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dell moves away.
Shou closes the distance and clinches.
Shou tries to break the clinch but Dell is controlling the position.
Dell drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shou smiles and moves away.

Saburou Shou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shou won't be happy with that.

Shou bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Dell is working an open guard so Shou takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Shou lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Khan Dell has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
