Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dimon Boets!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Forest Gump!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boets slips under a jab.
Gump paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Boets closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gump walks into a straight right hand from Boets.
Boets looks for a takedown but Gump sprawls well.
Forest Gump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boets ducks under a wild hook from Gump.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gump throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Boets ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Boets shoots in looking for a takedown but Gump manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boets's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Boets keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gump's head.

Gump drops back, looking for a kneebar! Boets looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Boets looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Boets!

Boets slips a nice elbow through Gump's hands, connecting with Gump's forehead.
Boets working over Gump with some ground and pound. Gump looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Boets has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Boets here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Boets lands a big elbow - Gump is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Boets!
