The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz shoots in for a double leg but Brock sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brock scores with a decent looking hook.
Brock displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cruz.
Cruz blocks a head kick by Brock.
Cruz ducks right into an uppercut from Brock.

It looks like Nate Cruz has been cut.
Brock moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cruz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brock avoids it really well and circles away.
Eddie Brock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Cruz.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cruz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cruz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Brock connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Brock scores with a hook to the body. Cruz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cruz is trying desperately to land a takedown but Brock is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cruz.
Cruz has his takedown stuffed
and Brock counters with an inside leg kick.
Crack! Brock connects with the perfect overhand right and Cruz falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Brock!
