Black is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dropkick murphys - drink and fight. Lex Wight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws an overhand right that lands on Wight's shoulder, as Wight tries to avoid the shot.

Wight moves into the clinch.
Black has Wight pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wight manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Wight lands an elbow that stopped Black in his tracks for a moment.
Wight lands a good knee to the midsection. Black won't want to take too many of those.

Wight is looking to control Black's arms but Black gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wight has his back to the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wight takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Black clinches up with Wight and pushes him back against the cage.
Wight is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Wight tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Black's elbow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wight's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wight pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Black! Wight unloads with more strikes and Black sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
