Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avan Strash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avan Strash has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Lucas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avan Strash!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas motions for Strash to come forward. Lucas throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Avan Strash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucas keeps Strash at a distance using the push kick.
Strash closes the distance but Lucas moves to the side
and Lucas counters with a good low kick that Strash was not able to check.
Lucas lands a right hook to the body.
Strash tries to clinch up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Strash looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Strash is looking to clinch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lucas, right into the meat.
Strash closes the distance but Lucas moves to the side
and Lucas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Strash tries to close the distance and clinch but Lucas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lucas moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Lucas closes the distance and pushes Strash back into the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Strash's face as he tries to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Strash wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lucas has him pressed against the cage.
Lucas manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Strash wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lucas lands a nice uppercut.
Strash working aggressively here.
A short body shot lands from Lucas as the two fighters clinch.
A shot in the inside from Lucas.
Strash misses with a punch on the inside.
Lucas is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Strash swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Strash throws a punch but it's blocked by Lucas.

Lucas manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lucas fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Strash is out of range.
Lucas swats away the attempt to clinch by Strash.
Strash gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lucas throws a head kick that Strash semi-blocks.
Lucas delivers a nice body kick.
Strash lands with an overhand left.
Strash is looking to clinch but Lucas is avoiding it.
Lucas throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Strash looks winded!
Lucas connects with a crisp jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lucas.
Lucas scores with a push kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lucas, right into the meat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lucas moves into the clinch.
Lucas lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Strash or not.
Lucas lands an elbow inside that Strash shrugs off.
Lucas lands an elbow inside.
Strash struggles to land a body shot inside as Lucas controls his hands.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Lucas pushes Strash back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A head punch on the inside from Strash fails to land.

Lucas manages to break the clinch.
Strash tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lucas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Strash takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Lucas lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body punch from Lucas.
Lucas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lucas lands a high kick!


It looks like Avan Strash has been cut.
Strash is looking to clinch but Lucas is avoiding it.
Lucas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lucas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lucas thuds his shin into the meat of Strash's side.
Strash is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lucas lands a nice hook to Strash's body. Strash takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Strash's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Lucas lands a big head kick that sends Strash tumbling to the mat! Lucas takes a step backwards and waves Strash back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Strash is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lucas gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Strash is still on wobbly legs! Can Lucas finish him?
Strash misses with some punches.
Strash seems to have recovered his senses.
Lucas lands a shoulder strike.
Lucas scores with a nice hook to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Travis Lucas dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Avan Strash's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lucas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Strash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lucas lands a hook that snaps the head of Strash backwards.
Lucas blocks a body shot from Strash.
Lucas lands an uppercut.
Lucas blocking some punches.
Strash struggles to land a body shot inside as Lucas controls his hands.
Lucas lands a right hand that snaps the head of Strash backwards.

Lucas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strash uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lucas.
Strash takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Lucas lands a big head kick that sends Strash tumbling to the mat! Lucas takes a step backwards and waves Strash back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
and Lucas counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Strash! He's just covering up as Lucas starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Travis Lucas!
Travis Lucas bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
