Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mibon Rapthlaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard comes to the cage accompanied by Retaliator. Mibon Rapthlaka told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Lombard. Rapthlaka does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rapthlaka doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lombard counters with a series of strikes. Rapthlaka will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mibon Rapthlaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lombard changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rapthlaka scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Rapthlaka has an Americana. Lombard didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rapthlaka is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rapthlaka hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
