The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reem tests Madsen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Madsen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reem sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Henkka Reem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reem tries to clinch up
and Madsen counters with a nice uppercut.
A nice combination there by Reem.
Reem will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Reem fails with a takedown attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reem throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Reem has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Madsen defend it? Reem steps over the head and cranks it - Madsen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Reem!
