Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Professor Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cletus Kasady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaos comes to the cage accompanied by Chaos. Cletus Kasady will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Professor Chaos !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Cletus Kasady!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kasady pushes Chaos off looking to stand but Chaos dives back in and keeps control.
Chaos is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Kasady looks like he's trying to stand up.

Chaos is trying to control the action in half guard but Kasady is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Chaos prevents Kasady from standing back up.

Kasady makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Kasady throws a low kick but Chaos moves out of range easily.
Kasady fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A bone on bone clash there as Chaos blocks the leg kick.
Chaos shoots for a double leg takedown but Kasady sprawls well. He's pushed Chaos 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kasady lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chaos circles away quickly and effectively.

Chaos shoots for a takedown but Kasady saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chaos stops Kasady from getting back to his feet.

Kasady has hold of Chaos 's hands but Chaos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Professor Chaos will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
