Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Kirovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Standard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Standard told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Standard misses with a two punch combination.
Kirovski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Standard was covering up waiting for the punch and Kirovski finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kirovski controls from within his opponent's guard.
Kirovski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
