Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matthew Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Fuma!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Fuma looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Connor cracks Fuma with a right hand to the side of the head.

Connor drops Fuma with a right and a left! Connor comes rushing in but Fuma regains his composure and manages to keep Connor in guard.

Fuma is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Connor is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Fuma is still in real trouble! Can Connor finish him?
Connor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Fuma seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Connor wants to stand but Fuma has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

We're going to have a standup here because Matthew Connor wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Connor.
Connor scores with a shot to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Connor.
Fuma gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Connor, right into the meat.
Fuma takes one on the button.
Connor fails to land with a series of punches.
Connor thumps Fuma with a low kick.
OH! Fuma has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Connor smells blood and charges in for the finish! Connor unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Fuma sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
