Myshkin has chosen Rock Version of the Russian National Anthem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myshkin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Myshkin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Myshkin keeps the fight on the outside.

lavelle has managed to clinch.

lavelle breaks from the clinch.
lavelle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
lavelle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and lavelle counters by clinching up.
The is referee keeping an eye on lavelle - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

lavelle throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

lavelle clinches up against the cage.
lavelle drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
lavelle lands a knee to the body.
lavelle scores with a knee to the head.

lavelle has picked Myshkin up - he's going for a ride! lavelle dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Myshkin is not content to let lavelle control the position.
Myshkin wants to get back to full guard.

lavelle slows the pace down in half guard.
lavelle is looking to take a break and control but Myshkin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Myshkin is trying to maintain the position but lavelle is very close to passing his half guard.
Myshkin pushes lavelle off looking to stand but lavelle dives back in and keeps control.
Myshkin misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Myshkin tries to clinch up but lavelle circles away and keeps his distance.
lavelle throws a head kick but Myshkin moves out of range.
lavelle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Myshkin fails in his attempt to clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Myshkin wants to clinch but lavelle slips to the side
and lavelle counters with a hugh head kick that removes Myshkin from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
