The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langford fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jonsson scores with a shot to the body.
Langford closes the distance and clinches up with Jonsson, looking for a takedown. Langford pushes Jonsson against the ropes but Jonsson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Langford feints and as Jonsson raises his hands in defense, Langford changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Langford looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Jonsson can't hide his disappointment, as Langford celebrates the victory.

A relieved looking Sam Langford thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
