Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keagan Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sergio Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowe gets a double leg takedown into Silva's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lowe is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lowe decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Lowe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lowe has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.

Lowe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lowe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Silva is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lowe is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Keagan Lowe was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Lowe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.

Silva is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lowe lands a knee to the body.

Lowe manages to break the clinch.
Silva chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Lowe clinches up against the cage.

Lowe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Lowe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lowe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lowe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lowe stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lowe on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lowe's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Lowe drags him back down.
Lowe content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Keagan Lowe.
Silva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lowe circles away quickly and effectively.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lowe fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lowe has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Lowe clinches up against the cage.

Lowe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Silva throws a series of punches but Lowe avoids them all with ease.
Lowe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Lowe moves out of range as Silva throws a body kick.
Lowe misses with a wild body shot.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Lowe moves out of range easily.

Lowe rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva lands a knee to the body.

Lowe breaks from the clinch.
Lowe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Silva.

Lowe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Lowe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lowe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lowe has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lowe is breathing heavily.
Lowe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Silva in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva tries to buck Lowe off but Lowe takes his back!
Silva is trying to get back to his feet but Lowe has full control of the position and if anything, Silva has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Lowe is riding his opponent, not letting Silva buck him off.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Keagan Lowe.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Silva. Lowe shrugs it off though.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lowe.
Sergio Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keagan Lowe.

Silva throws a push kick but Lowe slaps the foot to one side.

Lowe cracks Silva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Lowe counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Lowe to acknowledge the strikes.
Lowe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keagan Lowe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Silva throws a head kick that misses.

Silva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lowe to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Lowe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Silva's guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Lowe stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Silva.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lowe.

Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lowe gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lowe works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Lowe stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Silva throws a nice inside leg kick.

Lowe closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.
Silva is trying to maintain a safe position but Lowe gets an underhook and turns Silva into the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Silva tries to circle away but Lowe has him pinned against the cage.

Silva tries to work over Lowe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Silva scores a nice knee to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lowe keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Silva's efforts to push away.
Silva fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Silva tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lowe avoids it.
Lowe jumps guard but Silva turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Lowe drags the fight down to the ground.
Silva is looking to stand up but Lowe won't let him.

Lowe trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Silva wants to stand but Lowe has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Lowe has his feet on Silva's thighs here. He's pushed Silva off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Silva screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
