Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Bondarenko!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bondarenko looks to land a right hand but Walpole moved out of range.
Walpole thumps Bondarenko with a low kick.
Walpole sizes up Bondarenko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bondarenko misses with a wild body shot.
A good leg kick by Walpole.
Bondarenko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Walpole steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bondarenko.
Bondarenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bondarenko misses with a left hand
and Walpole counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bondarenko's knee momentarily.
Nice body kick there by Walpole.
Bondarenko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Walpole lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jab, jab by Bondarenko - just one landing.
Oleg Bondarenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walpole on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Walpole lands a head shot.
Walpole lands an overhand right.
Bondarenko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Walpole counters with a good, hard body kick but Bondarenko shrugs it off.
Bondarenko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Walpole's head.
Bondarenko looks to land a right hand but Walpole moved out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walpole slips a jab from Bondarenko.
Bondarenko misses with a lunging right hand
and Walpole connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Walpole, right into the meat.
Bondarenko swings for the body but Walpole moves out of range.
Walpole ducks under a wild hook from Bondarenko.
Bondarenko scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Walpole uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bondarenko.
Bondarenko chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Walpole can pounce on him.
Walpole lands a jab to the head.
Walpole looks to score with a jab to the body but Bondarenko is just out of range.
That kick from Walpole tenderised Bondarenko's leg. Bondarenko is trying to keep his angry face on.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A jab from Bondarenko does it's job there.
Bondarenko misses with a hook
and Walpole counters with an outside leg kick.
Bondarenko looks winded!
Walpole throws a jab when Bondarenko was well out of range.
Bondarenko misses with a looping right.
Sloppy strikes from Bondarenko. Those never looked like landing.
Bondarenko thows a left - swing and a miss!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walpole fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bondarenko steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Walpole. That one must have hurt.
Bondarenko walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bondarenko misses with a hook to the body
and Walpole counters with a body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Walpole. That's going to slow Bondarenko down.
Nice shot by Walpole.
A solid leg kick lands there for Walpole.
Walpole throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Bondarenko might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Walpole lands a jab-cross combination.


Bondarenko is rocked!
Bondarenko throws a nice looking combination but Walpole bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bondarenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Walpole finish him?
Walpole looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Walpole - that will leave a mark!
Walpole pounces like a tiger and cracks Bondarenko with a vicious hook! Bondarenko is down but not out! Walpole follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Richie Walpole!
Our winner, Richie Walpole, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
