Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Arenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nicolas Arenas!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez cracks Arenas with a right hand to the side of the head.
Arenas shoots in and drives through. Perez sprawls well.
Arenas shoots in but no luck this time.
Perez instigates a clinch.
Perez scores with a shot to the side of Arenas's head.
Arenas working hard to break the clinch.
Perez scores with a shoulder strike.
Perez lands a body shot in the clinch.
Perez lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Perez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Arenas looks winded!
Perez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Arenas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Perez connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Arenas tumbling to the canvas! Perez pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Arenas was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Anthony Perez!
Anthony Perez was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
