PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joachim Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thufighter Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joachim Braga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thufighter Face!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face shoots in looking for a takedown but Braga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Face's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Face tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Braga paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Face changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Braga tries to avoid it but Face manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Braga to the ground. Braga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Face shoots for a takedown but Braga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Joachim Braga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thufighter Face.
A solid body kick from Braga.
Braga thows a body kick. Face tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Face looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Braga.
Braga throws a leg kick which misses Face's front leg but catches the back leg as Face tries to avoid it.
Braga throws a nice outside leg kick.
Face takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Thufighter Face has been cut.

Braga lands a big head kick that sends Face tumbling to the mat! Braga takes a step backwards and waves Face back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Face is rocked!
Braga feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Face's calf.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Braga cracks the inside of Face's front leg.
Braga fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Face has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Face is trying desperately to land a takedown but Braga is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Face.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Braga moves in close and cracks Face with a massive right hand! Face, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Braga!
