And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster throws a shot from downtown. Ballantyne moves away and avoids it.
Ballantyne fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Foster checks it well.

Ballantyne instigates a clinch.
Foster stalling in the clinch but Ballantyne improves position.
Ballantyne misses with a knee strike.

Ballantyne escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Foster takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Foster stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ballantyne.
Foster blocks a leg kick.
Ballantyne slips a jab and a cross from Foster.
Ballantyne scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ballantyne scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Foster misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ballantyne blocks a head kick by Foster.

Ballantyne cracks Foster with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Foster looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ballantyne finish him?

Foster is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ballantyne throws a head kick that misses.
Oh Foster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ballantyne steps in with a hook that catches Foster right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Ballantyne follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Foster looks absolutely devastated.

In his post fight interview, Garrick Ballantyne started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
