The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kurdov blocks a jab.
Ninnagins takes a swing at Kurdov's ribcage but misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ninnagins. Kurdov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ninnagins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ninnagins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kurdov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ninnagins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Kurdov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

A lull in the action here.
Kurdov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ninnagins for as long as he can get away with.
Ninnagins takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

An elbow from Kurdov crashes against the mat.
Kurdov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kurdov controls the position.
The ground and pound from Kurdov seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

It looks like Tubba Ninnagins has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kurdov misses with the ground and pound.
Kurdov throws a strike aimed at the side of Ninnagins's head but Ninnagins avoids it well.
Ninnagins tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You get the feeling that Ninnagins really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The referee warns Ninnagins that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The cut above Tubba Ninnagins's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Tubba Ninnagins's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tubba Ninnagins's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
