The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arpa missing with a left hand there. Venturia was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Venturia throws a right hand that Arpa ducks under and follows up with a left that Arpa also avoids with ease.
Venturia takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Venturia.
Arpa throws a lazy head kick
and Venturia counters with a one-two to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arpa throws a lazy right hand but Venturia sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Juri Arpa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Venturia cracks Arpa with a good jab.
A chopping leg kick lands by Venturia.
Venturia checks the leg kick nicely there.
Arpa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Arpa throws a low kick but Venturia avoids it.
Venturia looks to land a combination but Arpa avoids it well.
That kick from Venturia tenderised Arpa's leg. Arpa is trying to keep his angry face on.
Arpa looks winded!
Venturia scores with the left hand. Arpa knows he should have avoided that one.
A head kick misses from Arpa.
Venturia thumps Arpa with a low kick.
Arpa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Arpa there as he acknowledges the shot.

Arpa is rocked!
Arpa wants to stay close but Venturia steps back to make room for something. Arpa seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Venturia and Arpa drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Jesse Venturia spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
