The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Garcia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Timmons escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Garcia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Jordan Timmons will probably get the nod.

Garcia jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Timmons walks away with a smile on his face. Garcia gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

This one could be over very soon! Garcia goes limp - he's gone! Timmons jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
