Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maple Leaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grizzly Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leaf tries to avoid it but Adams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leaf to the ground. Leaf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Leaf bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Adams regains half guard.
Adams looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Adams gets back to full guard.
Adams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Leaf defends it easily.
Adams working for a triangle but Leaf defends it easily.
Leaf throws a big right hand that misses.
Leaf drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Leaf jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Leaf moves to his opponent's back but Adams bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Leaf.
Adams wants to pass the guard but Leaf is keeping the position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Leaf clinches up with Adams and pushes him back against the cage.
Adams has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Leaf uses from the top position.
