The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fraizer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Marc Fraizer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fraizer thows a body shot but no joy.
Fraizer misses with a low kick as Mazuke jumps back.
Fraizer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mazuke counters with a takedown into side control.
Mazuke has hold of Fraizer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fraizer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mazuke cranks the arm and Fraizer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fraizer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Toki Mazuke!
A relieved looking Toki Mazuke thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
