The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Elendil enables Vancan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Elendil manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Elendil wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Elendil is rocked!
Elendil on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Elendil tries to get out of the position.
Vancan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Elendil badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Vancan around the waist but Vancan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Vancan is the winner by TKO! Vancan jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

After the fight, Raider Vancan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
