Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turbo Rulez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rulez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nelson wants to control but Rulez postures up.
Nelson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Rulez in side control, throwing shots but Nelson defends.
Rulez has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Rulez is stalling here. Nelson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rulez seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nelson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Rulez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nelson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nelson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nelson!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nelson wants to finish this one by submission but Rulez is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nelson.
Nelson has control of Rulez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rulez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Nelson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rulez is now in Nelson's guard. A big mistake from Nelson there, giving up the dominant position!

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Nelson will probably get the nod.

Nelson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rulez is fending him off so far but Nelson persists. Nope, Rulez circles away and we're back to standing.
