Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc KroKop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). KroKop has chosen This Day We Fight as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

KroKop moves into the clinch.

KroKop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
KroKop doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
KroKop ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

KroKop closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Cabrera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
KroKop bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cabrera looks to land a right hand but KroKop moved out of range.
KroKop paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Pablo Cabrera has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cabrera moves out of range as KroKop throws a body kick.
KroKop tries a head kick but it misses.

KroKop closes the distance and pushes Cabrera back into the ropes.

KroKop breaks from the clinch.
KroKop moves out of range of the strikes.
KroKop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pablo Cabrera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cabrera misses with a lunging right hand
and KroKop counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Cabrera gets cracked with a nice right hand there by KroKop.
Cabrera fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. KroKop looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A low kick from Cabrera misses
and KroKop counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

KroKop takes the fight into the clinch.
KroKop has Cabrera pressed against the ropes, preventing Cabrera from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Cabrera misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cabrera is trying to push KroKop away but KroKop has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
KroKop lands an elbow inside.
KroKop keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cabrera's efforts to push away.
Cabrera misses with a hook from the clinch.

KroKop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cabrera moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
KroKop goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
KroKop lands with a slapping head kick.
Cabrera loads up on a big right hand but KroKop slips the punch.
KroKop throws a head kick that misses.
Cabrera steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from KroKop. That one must have hurt.
Cabrera connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed KroKop momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
KroKop works Cabrera's body with a nice hook.

Cabrera throws a lazy head kick
and KroKop counters with a one-two to the body.
KroKop walks into a jab.
Cabrera takes a swing at KroKop's ribcage but misses.

KroKop lands a big head kick that sends Cabrera tumbling to the mat! KroKop takes a step backwards and waves Cabrera back to his feet - he wants the finish!

KroKop bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Cabrera gets tackled into the ropes by KroKop. KroKop maintains the clinch.

KroKop's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
