Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hickock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randal Pritchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hickock comes to the cage accompanied by Turn me on Mr Deadman. Pritchard has chosen English Blood, Irish Heart - By Morrissey as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Randal Pritchard told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Randal Pritchard!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickock takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Richard Hickock has been cut.
Pritchard scores with a nice strike.
Richard Hickock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hickock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hickock moves in looking to clinch but Pritchard pushes him off.
Pritchard slips a jab from Hickock.
Hickock lunges at Pritchard with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pritchard's hand.
Pritchard takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hickock wants to slow Pritchard down by chopping away at his legs.
Pritchard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pritchard throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hickock.
Pritchard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hickock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hickock throws a jab but it's blocked by Pritchard.
Hickock closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pritchard counters with a low kick, right behind Hickock 's knee.

Hickock avoids a kick to the body.
Pritchard digs a good hook to Hickock's body.
Pritchard throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hickock looks for the body kick but Pritchard saw that one coming.
Pritchard throws a shot to the body.
Hickock missing with a left hand there. Pritchard was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pritchard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hickock has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Pritchard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hickock tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pritchard slips a straight right by Hickock.

Hickock throws the left hand but Pritchard avoids the punch easily.
Pritchard throws a lazy body kick
and Hickock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hickock does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hickock's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pritchard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hickock scrambles back to his feet.
Hickock thows a body shot but no joy.
Hickock blocks the body kick.
Pritchard bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Pritchard chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hickock is looking to clinch.
Pritchard jabs at Hickock's body.
Pritchard scores with a sloppy right hand. Hickock should have avoided that one.
Nice body kick there by Pritchard.
Hickock is breathing heavily.

Pritchard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Pritchard jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pritchard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pritchard swings for the body but Hickock moves out of range.
Oooooh!!! Pritchard has knocked Hickock down with a huge combo! Pritchard steps away and waves a wobbly Hickock back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Pritchard connects with a single shot there.
Hickock is rocked!
A solid body kick from Pritchard.

Hickock is looking to clinch but Pritchard is avoiding it.
Pritchard scores with a leg kick.
Pritchard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hickock throws a leg kick that misses.
Hickock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pritchard lands a big head kick that sends Hickock tumbling to the mat! Pritchard takes a step backwards and waves Hickock back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Hickock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hickock crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pritchard - the referee stops the clock and Hickock gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pritchard. Hickock manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pritchard lands a leg kick that knocks Hickock off balance momentarily.

Hickock seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pritchard throws a good cross that connects.
Pritchard lands a big uppercut and Hickock crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hickock looks OK. Pritchard waves Hickock back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pritchard has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hickock.

Hickock lands with an uppercut that bounces Pritchard off the cage and back into range.

Pritchard throws a push kick but Hickock slaps the foot to one side.

Pritchard fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hickock checks it well.
Pritchard throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pritchard tries to move into range but Hickock moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Pritchard throws a leg kick which misses Hickock's front leg but catches the back leg as Hickock tries to avoid it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pritchard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Randal Pritchard seems to be getting the better of the standup.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pritchard throws a leg kick which misses Hickock's front leg but catches the back leg as Hickock tries to avoid it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pritchard.

Pritchard drops Hickock with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hickock looks back up at him and smiles so Pritchard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pritchard thumps Hickock with a low kick.
Pritchard scores with a push kick.
Pritchard circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hickock to the canvas! Hickock doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Pritchard keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
