And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinnie Sproston!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sproston tries to close the distance and clinch but MacRoberts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

MacRoberts is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sproston's half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sproston wants to get back to full guard.
Sproston is not content to let MacRoberts control the position.
Sproston keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

MacRoberts stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by MacRoberts!

It looks like Vinnie Sproston has been cut.
Sproston takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crunch! Sproston slams his shin into MacRoberts's torso.

MacRoberts drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sproston can't do much from the bottom here.
Sproston is letting MacRoberts control him for a moment.

MacRoberts looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sproston is avoiding damage well.
Sproston is not content to let MacRoberts control the position.
The strikes coming from MacRoberts are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
MacRoberts tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
MacRoberts grinds an elbow into Sproston's temple.

MacRoberts takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sproston is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

MacRoberts loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sproston scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from MacRoberts land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. MacRoberts stands and salutes the crowd.
