Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Graham Harvey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klice Moroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klice Moroon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Graham Harvey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Klice Moroon!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvey forces Moroon back against the cage and clinches.
Harvey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Harvey moves into range and clinches up with Moroon.
Harvey stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Harvey has Moroon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Harvey pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Moroon tumbling to the mat - Harvey dives into Moroon's guard.
Harvey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Moroon wants to get back to striking at distance but Harvey won't allow it.
Harvey jumps guard and drags Moroon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harvey manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Harvey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Moroon to the ground. Harvey is now in Moroon's guard.
Harvey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Moroon looks winded!
Harvey shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moroon sprawls well. Moroon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harvey gets slowly back to his feet.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Harvey!
It looks like Klice Moroon has been cut.
Klice Moroon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harvey forces Moroon back against the cage and clinches.
Harvey turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Harvey stands and steps away. Moroon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Harvey has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Moroon is trying to keep an underhook but Harvey manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Harvey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moroon keeps working.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harvey is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Moroon!
Harvey sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Harvey looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Moroon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Harvey shoots in looking for a takedown. Moroon tries to sprawl out of it but Harvey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moroon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Harvey has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Harvey there as he acknowledges the shot.

Moroon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Harvey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moroon can do to turn this around?

Harvey doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Harvey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moroon, pushing him back against the cage.

Harvey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Harvey winds up and cracks Moroon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Moroon has had enough of the clinch but Harvey keeps him there for the moment.

and Moroon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Harvey thinking.
Harvey misses with a takedown attempt - Moroon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Moroon connects with a good right hand that stumbles Harvey. Harvey circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Moroon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Moroon lands a nice shot that snaps Harvey's head back.

Harvey has Moroon up against the cage in a clinch.
Moroon is trying to push Harvey away but Harvey has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Harvey manages to break the clinch.
Harvey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Moroon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Harvey scrambles back to his feet.
Harvey closes the distance and pushes Moroon back into the cage.
Harvey has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Moroon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
What can Moroon do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Harvey has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Moroon has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Moroon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Moroon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Moroon wanted to stand there but Harvey had control of the position.
Moroon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harvey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moroon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
