Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Icko Fixo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Utah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonny Utah is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Icko Fixo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Utah!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fixo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Utah checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fixo misses with a series of wild punches.
Fixo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Utah counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fixo misses with a low kick as Utah jumps back.
Utah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fixo.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fixo. That's going to slow Utah down.
Utah throws a shot to the body.
Utah misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fixo.
A left and a right from Fixo both land. Nice combination.
A big right from Utah misses.
Fixo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Utah throws an overhand right that lands on Fixo's shoulder, as Fixo tries to avoid the shot.
Fixo misses with a few strikes there.
Fixo throws a head kick but Utah moves out of range.
Fixo throws a leg kick but Utah sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Fixo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Utah holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fixo looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Utah blocks an elbow strike from Fixo.
Utah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Fixo misses.
Fixo looks to throw a body kick
and Utah counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Icko Fixo has been cut.
Utah blocks the body kick.
Fixo feints a jab promting Utah to slip. Fixo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Utah slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Utah takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Some wild striking there from Fixo.
Fixo throws a sloppy head kick and Utah moves out of range easily.
Utah takes the fight into the clinch.
Utah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fixo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fixo misses with a low kick as Utah jumps back.
Utah misses the jab.
Utah chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fixo can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fixo swinging wildly here.
Utah avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fixo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fixo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Utah connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fixo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Utah lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Fixo is looking to close the distance but Utah sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Fixo crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Fixo is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Jonny Utah!
Our winner, Jonny Utah, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
