Meldir shoots in for a double leg but Wards sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wards takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nice takedown defense from Meldir. No joy for Wards on that attempt.
Wards takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Meldir feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wards's calf.
