The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunderborn lands a nice looking body shot.
Thunderborn attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A jab from Kiuga does it's job there.
Thunderborn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kiuga pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kiuga lunges at Thunderborn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thunderborn's hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A swing and a miss from Thunderborn.

Kiuga clinches up with Thunderborn and pushes him back against the cage.
Kiuga misses with a punch on the inside.
Thunderborn misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Still in the clinch, Thunderborn scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kiuga wants to break free but Thunderborn has control.
A left hand lands to the body for Thunderborn.
Kiuga swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kiuga wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Thunderborn lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kiuga backwards.
Thunderborn struggles to land a body shot inside as Kiuga controls his hands.
A head punch on the inside from Thunderborn fails to land.

Thunderborn breaks from the clinch.
Kiuga on the wrong end of a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thunderborn throws a looping overhand right but Kiuga ducks down to avoid it.
Kiuga tries to close the distance and clinch but Thunderborn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Thunderborn cracks Kiuga with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kiuga looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Thunderborn finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thunderborn drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kiuga right on the button. Kiuga goes down! Thunderborn follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Thunderborn gets the win via TKO!

Dice Thunderborn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
