Gardner comes to the cage accompanied by Goodtimes. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gilmour's choice of entrance music: i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmour lands a front kick.
Gardner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gilmour.
Gardner shoots for a takedown but Gilmour saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gilmour misses the shot to the body.

Gardner shoots for a double leg takedown but Gilmour sprawls well. He's pushed Gardner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gilmour lands a leg kick that knocks Gardner off balance momentarily.

Gilmour leaves Gardner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gardner is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Gilmour fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gardner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gilmour goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Gilmour uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gardner.
Gilmour displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gardner.

Gilmour clobbers Gardner with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Rylan Gardner's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Gilmour connects with a combination that backs up Gardner into the cage. Gilmour lands a flurry of punches that gets past Gardner's guard. Gardner is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Gilmour bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
