Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Haukka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Matlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matlock avoids the head kick by Haukka.
Matlock with a hook.
Haukka chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Haukka bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Matlock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haukka manages to avoid it.
Matlock throws a right hand that misses
and Haukka counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Matlock wants to land a leg kick but Haukka is out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matlock scores with a jab. Haukka acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Haukka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Matlock.
Matlock stuffs the takedown attempt from Haukka. Haukka gets slowly back to his feet.

Matlock lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Haukka backs up against the cage.
Haukka doesn't manage to clinch there - Matlock circles away.
Matlock will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Haukka fails in his attempt to clinch.

Nice shot lands for Matlock.
Matlock throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matlock clobbers Haukka with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Haukka tries to clinch up but Matlock circles away and keeps his distance.
Matlock dips to his left and cracks Haukka with an uppercut!
Haukka tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Haukka has managed to clinch.
Haukka lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Matlock smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Matlock is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Haukka had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Matlock lands a really nice looking cross but Haukka seems unphased.
The fight stays on the outside here - Haukka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Matlock digs a good body shot into Haukka's ribs.

Daniel Haukka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haukka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Matlock manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Haukka moves in looking to clinch but Matlock pushes him off.
Matlock slips a jab and a cross from Haukka.
Matlock fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Haukka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Matlock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Haukka wants to clinch but Matlock slips to the side
enabling Matlock to counter with a crisp jab.

Haukka is rocked!
Haukka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice body punch from Matlock.
Matlock thuds a left hand into Haukka's body.
Haukka closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Oh Haukka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Matlock closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Haukka! Matlock dives in looking to finish! Haukka is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Matlock!
Ben Matlock opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
