Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teddy Bear!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viking misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bear.
Viking throws a nice looking combination but Bear bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Viking dodges the punch combination from Bear.
Bear throws a head kick but Viking moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bear scores with a kick to the midsection.
The fighters circling - Viking throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Viking moves out of range of the body kick from Bear.

Bear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bear fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bear dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Viking. That did some damage!
Teddy Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bear throws out a loose jab but Viking uses good head movement to avoid it.

Viking steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bear. That one must have hurt.

Bear throws a body kick that misses.
Bear lands a head kick. Viking smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Bear counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Viking is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Bear throws a push kick but Viking slaps the foot to one side.

Bear lands a nice looking kick to the body. Viking takes a step back to recover.
Bear keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Viking.
Bear takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Bear lands with a kick to the temple. Viking shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Viking takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Viking thows a body shot but no joy.
Viking throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bear counters with a head kick. That will keep Viking thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Viking lands with a nice combination. Bear backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Teddy Bear has been cut.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Viking throws a nice looking combination but Bear bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bear lands a glancing blow to the side of Viking's head.
Bear is looking to land body kicks.
Norwegian Viking is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bear goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bear throws a series of punches but Viking avoids them all with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Teddy Bear will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Teddy Bear's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Bear throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bear throws a right hand that Viking ducks under and follows up with a left that Viking also avoids with ease.
Both fighters circling a little - Bear finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Donk. Bear catches Viking right on the button with a cross.
Viking tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bear was well out of range. Poor timing from Viking.

Bear delivers a nice body kick.
Bear tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bear throws a series of punches but Viking avoids them all with ease.
Teddy Bear seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Viking takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bear.

Bear throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bear throws a series of punches but Viking avoids them all with ease.
Bear scores with a head kick.
Bear lands with a slapping head kick.
Viking will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Viking throws a nice looking combination but Bear bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Viking. Bear does a little dance to reset his feet.

Viking with a jab.
Bear connects with a high kick.
Bear throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bear misses with a kick to the body.
Bear throws the kick towards the body but Viking avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bear throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Viking counters with a crisp one two that drops Bear! Viking thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bear to his feet! Bear is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bear displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Viking throws out the jab.
Viking takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
No joy there for Viking, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bear scores with a nice body kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Norwegian Viking.
Well Bear has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
