Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Red!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear moves in looking to clinch but Red pushes him off.
Bear uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Red.
Red throws a lazy uppercut

and Bear counters with a takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Red struggling a bit here.

Bear thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Red is looking for a sweep.
Bear creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Red sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Red is looking to reverse the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bear trying to control the position but Red is working away.

Red tries to bench press Bear off him but Bear keeps the position.

Bear working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Red working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bear doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bear manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Red is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bear tries to kick Red off but Red keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Red is thwarting Bear's attempts to control the position.

Red is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bear has his hands clasped together around Red's back. He's all about the action.
Bear manages to get to full guard.

Bear is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Red defends well.
Bear is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Red is controlling him.
Red makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Red lands a couple of digs.

Bear has momentary wrist control but Red slips an elbow through the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Red is keeping the position for now.
Bear is pushing down on Red's leg trying to pass to half guard. Red is fighting to maintain full guard but Bear has managed to sneak the leg through.
Red is pressing down on Bear's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Red has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bear tries to free his leg and advance position but Red is retaining full guard.
Red is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bear avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bear seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Red has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bear can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Red dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Bear throws out a loose jab but Red uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bear ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bear has taken the fight to the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Bear's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Red gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bear.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Red breaks the clinch.
Bear looks for a takedown but Red sprawls well.
Bear moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Red throws an off balance right hand

and Bear counters with a nice double leg into side control. Red won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Red tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bear presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bear prevents Red from getting the reversal.

Red bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Bear bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Red's guard.
Red is trying to control the position but Bear postures up.
Red lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bear!
Red scoring with strikes but Bear is staying in there.
Bear wants to hold on but Red pushes him away.

Red postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Bear bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Red and the fight is over!
