Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Artie Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Tombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lange comes into the arena with ACDC-You Shook Me(All Night Long) blaring out of the sound system. Brian Tombo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Artie Lange!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Tombo!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lange misses with a few strikes there.
Lange swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tombo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lange tries to clinch but Tombo is having none of it.
Tombo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lange moves into full guard.
Lange looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tombo is one step ahead there.
Lange had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tombo defends it easily.
Tombo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Lange will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tombo wants to stand but Lange has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lange chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tombo can pounce on him.

Tombo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tombo showed some decent athleticism there.
Tombo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lange does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lange is looking for a sweep. Tombo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lange scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Tombo clinches with his opponent.
Tombo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lange clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Lange is trying to stand back up.
Tombo wants to control but Lange manages to buck him off and is now in Tombo's guard! Nice work there by Lange!

Lange distracts Tombo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lange lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Lange.
Tombo is in bad spot here.

Lange really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lange is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lange wants to control from the top but Tombo keeps moving.
Lange sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tombo's guard.

Lange seems to be looking for submissions.

Lange is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Lange takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Artie Lange overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tombo is in a horrible position here. Lange smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lange has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tombo's face.

Lange can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tombo is looking to escape.

Tombo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lange. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Artie Lange wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tombo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lange.

Tombo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lange stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tombo clinches up with Lange and pushes him back against the cage.
Lange is looking to break free of the clinch but Tombo has double underhooks.
Lange wants a takedown but no success here.
Tombo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tombo prevents the takedown attempt.
Tombo tries to circle away but Lange has him pinned against the cage.

Lange's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Tombo sizes up Lange with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Tombo is trying to push Lange away but Lange has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Nice takedown defense from Tombo. No joy for Lange on that attempt.

Brian Tombo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tombo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
