Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Micah Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Price as Morris shoots in.
Morris has a takedown stuffed.
Price tries for a takedown but Morris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Morris shoots in but Price avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Morris is trying to pull guard but Price has him pressed against the cage.

Price fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Morris.

Price tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Morris wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Price has him pressed against the cage.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Morris isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Price stacks Morris on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Price!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jamie Price wasn't active enough on the ground.
A punch lands to the side of Morris 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Price feints and as Morris raises his hands in defense, Price changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Morris is working to tighten is grip on Price's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Price has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Morris is really squeezing tight and eventually Price passes out! Morris breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
