Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maco Fabio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maco Fabio is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DeAndre Redd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maco Fabio!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Fabio or perhaps it was just good defense by Redd which made him look bad.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fabio.
The fight stays on the outside here - Redd looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fabio has Redd up against the cage in a clinch.
Fabio is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Redd to keep the fight standing.
DeAndre Redd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maco Fabio.
Fabio tries for a takedown but Redd manages to get underhooks.
Redd gets control of Fabio's arms and successfully pulls guard. Redd will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fabio stands up from Redd's guard - Fabio perhaps looking for a knockout.
Redd looks to land a combination but Fabio avoids it well.
Fabio closes the distance and clinches up with Redd, looking for a takedown. Fabio pushes Redd against the cage but Redd circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Redd rushes Fabio and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Redd breaks from the clinch.
Fabio dodges the punch combination from Redd.
Fabio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Redd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fabio somewhat.
DeAndre Redd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fabio closes the distance and clinches.
Fabio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Redd.
Redd lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fabio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fabio working over Redd with some ground and pound. Redd looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
It looks like Fabio might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fabio is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fabio is looking to stall here but Redd recovers full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fabio is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Redd can't keep his opponent in guard - Fabio advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Fabio is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Fabio throwing shots but Redd is blocking nicely.

Fabio not doing much here.
Redd kicks off Fabio and gets to his feet.
Fabio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Redd circles away quickly and effectively.
Redd looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Redd backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Fabio's temple! It sends Fabio violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Redd celebrates and the doctors try to help Fabio!
