Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drizzt Do Urden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michaud Korrs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaud Korrs will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drizzt Do Urden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michaud Korrs!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korrs misses with a head kick.
Korrs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Do Urden swings for the body but Korrs moves out of range.
Do Urden misses with a series of wild punches.
Do Urden misses with a series of wild punches.
Do Urden throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Korrs sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Korrs fails to land with a series of punches.
Korrs misses with a body shot.
Korrs shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Do Urden as he avoids it easily.
Korrs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Korrs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Do Urden moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Korrs tries for a takedown but Do Urden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Do Urden throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Korrs tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Do Urden is in Korrs's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Do Urden throwing strikes from guard but Korrs blocks nicely.
Do Urden postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Korrs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Do Urden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Do Urden landing some decent shots from guard.

Do Urden trying to control but Korrs is working from the bottom.
Do Urden postures up in Korrs's guard and throws a big left but Korrs blocks it.
Korrs wants to stand up but Do Urden is controlling him.
Do Urden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Korrs swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Do Urden is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Do Urden trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Do Urden sitting in guard here, content to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Do Urden working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Do Urden is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Drizzt Do Urden just wasn't active enough.
Korrs shoots in for a takedown but Do Urden shows good takedown defense.
Drizzt Do Urden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michaud Korrs.

Do Urden shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Do Urden is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Korrs sees it coming and defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Do Urden seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Do Urden tries to pass to full mount but Korrs defends it.
Do Urden lands with a punch from half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Do Urden wants to take a breather but Korrs is having none of it.
Korrs has hold of Do Urden's hands but Do Urden slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Do Urden is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Korrs won't allow Do Urden to pass to mount.
Do Urden seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Do Urden passes to full mount!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Do Urden looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Korrs is bucking up trying to escape but Do Urden cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Korrs is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Do Urden takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drizzt Do Urden dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Do Urden closes the distance and clinches.
Do Urden drops down looking for an ankle pick but Korrs pulls his leg out and moves away.
Do Urden throws a shot to the body.
A swing and a miss from Do Urden.
Korrs tries to clinch but Do Urden moves out of range.
Korrs throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Do Urden looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Korrs is not content to let Do Urden control the position.
Korrs is trying to stand.
Do Urden moves into full mount! Korrs won't be happy about that!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Do Urden fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Do Urden breaks from Korrs's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Do Urden controlling the position easily from mount.
Do Urden unloading with bombs!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Do Urden cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Do Urden lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Do Urden punishing his opponent with strikes.
Do Urden is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Korrs can do to turn this around?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Do Urden looking to isolate an arm here. Korrs doesn't see it coming and as Do Urden extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Do Urden!
